- Winbond was popular for making 16550 VLB dual ide controllers, and today still manufactures the creme-de-la-creme of ISA controllers. With dual 16550UART to fly your external modems away, jumpers galore allowed manual override of each i/o feature of the card, so it can be used to give a secondary printer port (ECP+EPP control), and IRQ15 for a secondary IDE port, so a CD ROM can be attached as a Secondary Master on a normal 386/486, among many of its other advanced features generally found on Pentium mainboards today.
- We do not have any more additional information about this controller card, or others similar. Under no circumstances whatsoever may you contact us in any way regarding this. Do not contact us for any technical support information.
