Question: Do you think there should be a deathmatch competition in out city on a game of pure skill?

When the next experience will happen

to be announced

Where the next experience will happen

Montréal, Quebec

How the next experience will happen

Players are asked to bring their own weapon. This means, serious players must supply their entire computer system for the deathmatch day. Do whatever you got to do, but you have to bring down your own system. Mandatory ethernet (RJ45 TP) network cards are not supplied. Cards will be available for sale and installation. If you choose not to bring your system, you will be asked to use the supplied public free-access system, which is sure to have a long line up on. You must be a registered player in order to play. If you aren't registered, you can't play.

All normal and multiplayer levels will be played, There will all be multiplayer-type levels only. This is to test the true challenge of only the real aces that deserve to combat. Practicing for hundreds of hours doesn't make you the best. It just prepares you for the impossible. You will be tested for adaptability to new environments and adjustment to change. No room for wimps or fakes.

Nothing is being supplied. We will supply the tables and the electricity, and networking cables, but each player is asked to bring their own power bar, extension cords, and other additional accessories you might think is required. Sound systems or PC speakers are not allowed. Headphones only, or play deaf.

How good are you, and how long can you last?

And that's it?

We will always need your support! We can never have enough! Some places of events where we can have multiplayer death-match competitions:

  • Comicfest, tel.514 482 7913, ask for Elwin Shapiro
  • Warp 9, 6265A rue Belherbe, St-Leonard, Qc H1P 1G3, tel.514.324.1815, email:bsgo@musicb.mcgill.ca.
  • Micro Expo, Place Bonaventure, metro Place Bonaventure, tel.(514) 844-0502. Ask for Claude Thibault.

Yes! We can make this happen. We want you to call them up, and tell them, that you DEMAND multiplayer competitions to happen, and that you want them NOW. Tell them about this web page. Tell them how Animé de Montréal can make it happen.

And if you think you'd like to help or participate with us in any way, write some email to: cskyllas@mendax.com.
