The Color Darkroom without a Darkroom
Digital Photography is the premium choice for the amateur-professional to venture into color photography without the expensive of conventional color photography. Specialized lab equipment, consumables and chemicals, can easily run beginners thousands of dollars every year. An investment into digital photography is paid off immediately with instantaneous results without regrets.
- Instant proofing allows you to print out your finished work for quick viewing, making it easier to correct mistakes before they are discovered when your final prints are made in a lab
- No more wasting photo paper on prints that didn't come out the way you wanted to. Picture manipulation with popular software titles like Adobe Photoshop allows a photographer to work miracles not possible with convention darkroom equipment.
- Absence of hazardous chemicals ensures a green environment and protects personal health.
- Saving time and money as hours of work can be finished off in minutes in the digital realm. RGB adjustemts are much easier with the mouse than with your negative enlarger.
- Lower Cost-of-ownership with digital imaging vs. traditional photography chemicals. An amatuer photography can spend on the average C$2000 each year on film, processing, lab rental, proof jobs. This does not include equipment that the amateur must purchase ontop of these annual expenses, which can furthur escalate into the thousands. Cost-of-ownership of conventional Black&White Darkroom photography may even still exceed that of the Phaser 860.
You can see a live demo of the Phaser860 at the next Photographic Show Sep.16, 2001, and get a free 8x10 portrait photo of yourself or anyone else, with digital print and photography. Why Solid Ink?
The greatest thing about solid-ink is that they are CYMK ready, individually available in Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, and Black, the primary colors of printing. Solid Ink is melted by the printer, then droplets of them are used to print onto plain paper, as many as 1200 little droplets per inch. Solid ink won't fade away when you leave your prints in the sunlight, they are waterproof, and cost less than your bubblejet and laser printers! |
